...Sanity is a place most never see -- many, many consecutive nights of waving flags and drinking gin or whiskey and then finally friday, although friday could have been wednesday or monday or sunday. It was fun, but the air was heavy, voices hoarse, limbs weary - the world cup draining the spirit(s) from every night and day and day and night. And so, on til Saturday (or Monday? Or die laaste sondag, voor ons stof word?), and then another week and another after that ad infinitum. Te veel dae sonder slaap/ Soek vir 'n nuwwe perspektief. Indeed.

Back when my hair was black. And it was July winter. Now again. So there are some old, some new. Friends, musicians, relatives etc. Random compilation. Wondering if draincleaner could substitute as alcohol if the worst came to the worst. And in between a picture of one-time Jesus, in a long, plastic hallway (?).
